IBM Thinkpad Ultrabay 2000 CD ROM Drive

The ThinkPad 24X-10X CD-ROM Ultrabay 2000 Drive installs and accesses the growing list of software and databases now available on CD. With 24X-10X performance, this CD-ROM drive is well suited for running multimedia applications in a mobile environment. Transfer rate varies between 3.6Mbps (24X max) and 1.5Mbps (10X min). Actual playback speed will vary and depends on many factors. Slide-in (no cables) Plug and Play installation into the Ultrabay 2000 - For easy customer installation.

The ThinkPad Ultralight 8X-3X DVD-ROM Ultrabay 2000 Drive is designed to fit in the bay of the ThinkPad T, R, A Series and ThinkPad Dock plus in the Portable Drive Bay 2000 and in the UltraBase X2 media slice.
